Glossary model (optional override) Used for both glossary phases (term extraction + term translation). A cheaper model here cuts per-book cost while keeping chapter translation on the strong one. Second translation model (optional) When set, the editor shows an extra "Re-translate via <name>" button alongside the standard one — handy for A/B-comparing chapter translations across two models without re-typing the model name each time. Glossary chunk size (characters per term-extraction call) Rough guideline: ~4 chars per token. Default 400 000 ≈ 100 k tokens — fits modern long-context models (Gemini, Claude, GPT-4o). Lower for small-window models. Algorithmic Palladius (Палладий) for Chinese names When the source has Chinese characters, run each CJK term through the Palladius transliteration system and pass the result to the model as a per-term hint. Off by default — enable for Chinese-source books where you want canonical Russian renderings (Жуань Мянь, Чжан Сань) instead of model-invented ones.
